• The Library Board has full management and control of the Public Library to organize, promote and maintain comprehensive and efficient library services in the municipality. The Board determines the objectives for the Library that are appropriate to the needs of the community and re-examines them periodically. The Board develops policies governing the Library program and the operation of the Library in consultation with the Library Director.
• Members are appointed for a three year term and may sit for a maximum of three terms.
• Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of January, February, March, April, May, June, July, September, October and November at 7 pm in the Library. Meetings are usually two to three hours in length. The Board has sub-committees that meet on an as required basis. The public is welcome to attend Board meetings.
