Create a new artwork every third Saturday! Local artists share their work and passion to inspire young artists, teaching techniques and allowing students to explore and create.

$4 non-refundable materials fee; APL membership required. Register in advance at the library. Limited to 17 participants.

Hand-building with Clay: Press-Mold Bowls with Kelly Proulx
Saturday Sept 16, 3-4:30 pm *ARTember event*
ACAD graduate and local artist and educator Kelly Proulx teaches students how to hand-build with clay. Students will build and glaze their own bowls, and pick up fired masterpieces at a later date.

Mixed Media Landscapes with Bev Kelly
Saturday Oct 21, 3-4:30 pm
Inspired by Bev Kelly’s current exhibit of whimsical paintings, students will use mixed media to create an expressive landscape.

Chalk Pastel & Charcoal Techniques: Mountain Sunset with Michael Carte
Saturday Nov 18, 3-4:30 pm
Local soft pastel artist Michael Carte teaches tips and tricks for working with pastel and charcoal media.
