Airdrie Children’s Festival Society: Children’s Writing Workshop with Jacqueline Guest

In partnership with Airdrie Children's Festival Society, APL presents children’s author Jacqueline Guest.

For grades 3-6. Join our Easy Key Writing Workshop with award winning author, Jacqueline Guest! Students will learn how to write using correct methods and processes that ensure work will be technically accurate as well as imaginative and entertaining.

About the Author:

Jacqueline is a Metis writer who lives in a log cabin nestled in the pinewoods of the Rocky Mountain foothills of Alberta.

Her award winning books are unique in that many of the main characters come from different ethnic backgrounds including First Nations, Inuit or Metis. Jacqueline was named in 2016 to the Order of Canada for her work in improving literacy. Among her list of other awards, she received the prestigious Inspire Award for the Arts (formerly the National Aboriginal Achievement Award).
