Position Title: Fund Development and Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: The Library Director

Airdrie Public Library is a member of the Marigold Library System and is one of the fastest growing libraries in one of the fastest growing cities in Alberta. The library has an immediate opening for a fund development and marketing professional.

Position Summary:

The Fund Development and Marketing Coordinator takes the lead in planning, organizing and directing all aspects of the Library’s fund development and marketing programs. Maintains and renews a consisting marketing standard, brand and image, and ensures that APL has a visible and positive presence in the community.

Required Training, Experience, Skills:

▪ University degree or college diploma required
▪ Three or more years’ experience in fund development
▪ Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
▪ Highly organized with strong project management skills


▪ Public library or non-profit work experience
▪ Connection to the community

Employment Terms:

▪ 26 hours per week
▪ $29.24 - $35.60 per hour
▪ Some evening and weekend shifts required
