Airdrie Public Library’s makerspace is an innovative community hub providing opportunities to create, engage, and discover using existing and emerging technologies to promote lifelong learning.

We welcome all ages to come out and explore new technologies, create, collaborate and tinker!

Fall 2018 Schedule:

  • Coding and Robotics: Sharpen computer skills while learning to code and build your own robots and other inventions

  • Media Conversation: Preserve your historical AV items using our equipment to convert VHS and DVD to video files, and cassettes and CDs to MP3.

  • Augmented/Virtual Reality: Use technology to superimpose information, including sounds, images and text, on the world you see, or immerse yourself completely in computer generated environments. Come try it out!
