Airdrie Public Library, in partnership with North Rocky View Community Links, is proud to offer a selection of preschool literacy programs.

Summer Programming:

Babytime: Thursdays July 5 -August 16—11:30 a.m  Designed for children under 12 months. This is an oral program shared by caregiver and baby using rhymes,actions, songs, and board books.

Little Explorers:  Mondays, July 2 - Aug. 13 - 1:00 p.m. Join us for an outdoor play revolution as we pair stories with 45 minutes of fresh air, silly songs, laughs, giggles, exploration and play.  For 3-5 year olds and their caregivers.

Summer Programming:

Rhymes & Songs: This fun-filled program of fingerplays, rhymes, and songs is aimed at children from birth to 5 and their caregivers. Find us in the Children’s Area.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 9:45-10:15 a.m & 11:00-11:30 a.m. & Saturday; 10:10-11:40 a.m & 11:00-11:30 a.m.; July 2 - Aug. 18
 

Bedtime Storytime: Children of all ages are welcome to drop-in with their favorite stuffy for an hour of stories and crafts! Dress in your pajamas! Pick up a ticket at the Information Desk. Find us in the Program Room.

Tuesdays, July  3 - Aug. 14; 6:30-7:15 p.m.
 

Wild Wednesdays: Bring your stuffy and join us for songs, stories and a craft relating to a different animal each week during the summer.  For ages birth - 5 and their caregiver.  In the Children's Area.

Wednesdays, July 4 -Aug.15; 9:45 a.m.

Summer Stories in the Park (Supported by Propak Systems): APL will be visiting local parks for a fun-filled hour of rhymes, songs, and stories.
