Registered Programs

Toddlertime: Mondays—9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Fridays- 9:30 and 10:30. In the Program Room. Designed for preschoolers aged 1 -3, who need to move and actively participate. This program focuses on simple action songs, finger plays, use of simple props, and short stories. No programs on the Thanksgiving weekend- Saturday October 6 and Monday October 8.

Babytime: Mondays—11:30 a.m.; Fridays—11:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 10:15 a.m. Songs, bounces, tickling rhymes, finger plays and stories for babies birth to 12 months and their caregivers. No programs on the Thanksgiving weekend- Saturday October 6 and Monday October 8.

Sensory Storytime: Mondays: 1:00-2:00 p.m. Designed for children aged 3-10 with Autism or other developmental differences. This program is an interactive experience featuring songs, rhymes, stories and sensory play opportunity for children and their caregivers.

Wiggle Wednesday: Second Wednesday of each month —9:15-10:15 a.m. In partnership with Ambition Performing Arts, and designed for children aged 2-5. This program combines storytime, movement, and dance. (September 12, October 10, November 14 and December 12)

Drop In Programs 

Rhymes & Songs: Mondays- 9:45 and 11:00 a.m.; Tuesdays- 9:45 and 11:00 a.m.; Wednesday- 9:45 and 11:00 a.m.; Thursday- 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. in the Children’s Area. This fun-filled half hour of finger plays, rhymes, simple stories and songs is aimed at children from birth to 5 and their caregivers.

Sing, Read, Rhyme and Play: Tuesdays- 10:45-11:45 and Thursdays: 1:00-2:00. In the Program Room. This one hour program includes songs, rhymes, stories, and a wonderful opportunity for children to build social skills. Little ones will learn through play as they explore and enjoy our popular play carts. For children Birth-to age 5 and their caregivers. Space is limited: Please Pick up a ticket at the Information Desk.

Creative Hands and Minds: Tuesdays: 1:00-2:00 p.m. and Thursdays 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Program Room. Designed for children aged 3-5. This program features stories, songs, rhymes and a craft for children and their caregivers to share. Space is limited: Please Pick up a ticket at the Information Desk

Night Owls: Tuesdays—6:15-7:15 p.m. in the Program Room. Children ages 3+ are invited to get ready for bed with activities chosen specially for bedtime. Pillow, stuffed toys and jammies are welcome. We will dim the lights and cozy in for an hour of soothing rhymes and songs, finger plays stories and craft. Space is limited: Please Pick up a ticket at the Information Desk.

Sensational Saturdays: Sensational fun for 2-6 year olds and their caregivers Saturdays from 11:30-12:15. In the Program Room. This program includes a variety of fun themed stories and celebrations. Weekly Saturday activities will vary from crafting, to exploring, to dancing, rhyming, or moving. Watch for special themed Sensational Saturdays on September, 22, October 20, November 17 and December 15th. Please Pick up a ticket at the Information Desk. No program on the Thanksgiving weekend- Saturday October 6.
