TD Summer Reading Club: Feed Your Passions!

Get ready for an incredible summer of reading, activities, games, and prizes with the TD Summer Reading Club- Canada’s biggest summer reading program for kids going in to Kindergarten through Grade 7 in the fall!

This 100% FREE program celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories and is designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading. Developed and delivered by over 2,000 public libraries across Canada, this flexible program can be a part of everyone’s summer plans.

When:

The program runs from Monday to Thursday, July 2 to August 18.

How can I sign up?

Sign up begins online starting June 16 for Registered Participants, Casual Participants, and Read-on-your-Own Participants. Come in and register in person on June 16 between 10:00AM and 4:00PM

An APL membership is required.

What is the difference between registration, casual, and read-on your-own?

Registered Participants-
Registering ensures your child has a space in the program for the entire summer. If your child is unable to make a session, please let the library know in advance. Be sure to pick up your reading package after you have signed up online!

Casual Participants-
Don’t want to commit to attending programs on certain dates? Sign up as a Casual Participant to receive your reading package and come in whenever it’s convenient for you! Casual Participants will be allowed to join in as long as the session is not full.

Read-on-your-Own Participants-
Are you heading out of town for the summer or busy with other activities, but still want to track your reading and win great prizes? No problem! Register with us by indicating “read-on-your-own” on the online registration form and then pick up your reading package in the library.
