Airdrie Business Resources

Whether you already have an established business or are just thinking of opening up a new business, your Library has resources to help you be successful. We have business resource books, DVD's and online eResources. We also partner with a number of local business services:

• Airdrie Business Resource Partnership 
  The ABRP facilitates and/or coordinates the provision of resources that meet the needs of the business community and helps the community recognize and celebrate its business success.
• Airdrie Now! - City of Airdrie Economic Development
  Airdrie Economic Development is a dynamic team of economic development professionals who market Airdrie and support business development to meet the needs of businesses and residents and to create local employment opportunities.
• Community Futures Centre West 
  CFCW is a non-profit organization committed to community and business development in the Airdrie region. They provide counseling and financial assistance to small and medium sized businesses and entrepreneurs. A business development advisor from CFCW will be at Airdrie City Hall (in the room adjacent to the reception desk) every Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM to 12 noon.

• The Business Link An Alberta based website loaded with useful information and services. Advice is provided on topics such as: startup, incorporation, financing, loan programs, regulatory requirements, market access, and exporting.
• Alberta Women Entrepreneurs AWE provides services to help Alberta women start and grow their own businesses. The site provides excellent links for business planning, marketing and research, financing and grants. 
• The Idea Café A fun, American based small business site jam-packed with information and ideas
• Industry Canada A comprehensive site for Canadian businesses and consumers. Created to assist businesses in identifying new markets, find business partners, provide startup advice and guidance and financial information. Sponsored by Industry Canada.
• Netiva eBusiness Resource Guide A fact-based site with links to information on eCommerce and eBusiness.
