Online Catalogue

Have you used TRACpac, our online library system, lately? It has a new look and enhanced features:

  • Click on a book cover, and note the menu that appears to the right.
    • Read the ‘summary’ or the ‘first chapter or excerpt’, to learn more about the book.
    • Click on ‘profile’ to pick up information on the book’s awards, characters, time period, and setting.
    • Customers are able to keep track of what they have read with the ‘Reading History’ feature.
    • The ‘Book List’ feature is great for recording interesting future reads.
    • Find more titles by a particular author. When viewing records, the name of the author will be clickable and you can browse for other titles by that author.

  • On the left frame, just below the TRAC logo, click on ‘Large Print’ to move to a more generous view of the screen.
  • Share your favourites with friends over a variety of social networking sites - just click on "Share" under the book cover image on the left.
  • Airdrie Public Library now has the capability to send all hold and overdue notifications through e-mail. If you would like to have this service, please make sure our staff has your e-mail address. Stop by or phone us with your preference.

Access to the catalogue is available from every page of our website - simply type your search term into the Search the Catalogue box on the left hand side. Need help? Check out our hints for Searching the Online Catalogue.
