Call for Artists for Tiny Art Show & Gala Fundraiser
We've got the tiny canvases (4x4) and you've got the talent (huge)!
We're looking for artists of all mediums, ages, & expertise to create a tiny piece of art for our upcoming library fundraiser silent auction!
What you need to know:
- Pick up 4"x4" canvas from the circulation desk now until May 1st (or until canvasses run out, whatever comes first)
- Any medium is welcome . Variety is encouraged
- Artists and their art connection will remain anonymous. The night of the gala sign your purchased piece and meet who purchased it.
- But please register your name so we know who is participating and can share this with the public
- Please do not share your work until after the gala
- Pieces can be returned to the library anytime but NO LATER than MAY 6 2024
On-line Auction:
- As pieces are completed and returned to the library, they will be available to be bid on
- On-Line Auction Closes May 11, 2024 at 4:30pm (and can still be bid upon in-person at the gala
In-Person Silent Auction:
- Pieces will be put up for silent auction the night of the Tiny Art/Tiny Bubbles Gala (6:30pm-9:30pm May 11)
- Starting bids are set at $10 or the $5 higher than the highest on-line bid
- Highest bid from either on-line or in-person takes the art home
- All Proceeds for each piece sold will be put towards the collection expansion campaign
- Unsold items will be held for the artist by until closing time May 24, 2024 (or can be taken home May 11 if in attendance, which we highly encourage)
